The Consulate General of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi issues visas to individuals residing in and applying from UAE.
Due to regulatory constraints, we can only issue single entry visas valid for a one-month stay, with the exception of Business Visas (can be issued up to a maximum period of 3 years with multiple entries).
Those wishing to stay longer in Afghanistan can apply to the Consulate Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul for an extension of their visa.
The Afghanistan e-Visa allows eligible travelers to apply for a visa online without visiting an embassy or consulate.
Applicants can complete the entire process digitally by submitting the application form, uploading required documents, and paying the visa fee through the secure online portal.
The e-Visa is typically issued as a Single Entry Visa and allows travelers to enter Afghanistan for tourism, short-term visits, or other approved purposes.
Validity: Up to 3 months
Maximum Stay: Up to 30 days
Once approved, the e-Visa will be sent electronically and must be presented upon arrival.

Print the filled form and bring it along with your passport and other necessary documents to the Embassy.
Please visit the Embassy to receive your passport along with the visa on the given date.
The following visa categories are not available through the online system. Applications must be submitted through the Afghan Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence.
