Applying for passport

Below are some point you need to take care while applying for Passport.

The Afghan Embassy and Consular Section in Abu Dhabi handles the issuance of passports to Afghan citizens, which every Afghan can obtain based on their existing documents.

Afghans residing in the United Arab Emirates can obtain an Afghan passport when their passport expires or is lost, as well as when a newborn child is born in the Emirates, through the consular section of the embassy.

Completed passport application form.
Copy of electronic/paper ID.
Copy of UAE residency.
Copy of UAE visa (for Afghan citizens without UAE residency).
Copy of birth certificate (for Afghan citizens born in the UAE).
2 photographs (4×5 size).
Original bank statement.

Note: It is necessary to have the old original passport when applying for a new passport.
