The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi welcomes its esteemed compatriots and Afghans living in the United Arab Emirates!

Strengthening bilateral relations between Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates, serving the citizens living in the Emirates, addressing their needs and problems, and providing necessary facilities to the Afghan citizens and defending their rights are the main goals and basic duties of the Embassy of Afghanistan.

To serve Afghan nationals in the UAE with dignity, professionalism, and cultural pride, while strengthening Afghanistan’s diplomatic and community presence in the UAE.

The Embassy is responsible for:

Issuing and renewing passports

Processing Afghan visas for foreigners

Providing document attestation & legalization

Handling birth, marriage, and death registrations

Offering emergency legal and travel assistance

Supporting refugees and Afghan nationals in need

Issuing and renewing passports

Promoting Afghan cultural and educational exchange

Mr. Maulvi Badruddin Haqqani, through the special trust and attention of the honored and beloved Amir of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Sheikh of the Quran and Hadith Maulvi Hibatullah Akhundzada, presented his credentials to the Head of State of the United Arab Emirates on 11 Safar Al-Muzaffar 1446 (15/8/2024) and was appointed as the Ambassador of Afghanistan to Abu Dhabi.
