The Ambassador of Afghanistan met with the Head of Foreign Affairs of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The UAE Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Maulvi Badruddin Haqqani, met with Dr. Majid Al-Mansouri, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country. In addition to bilateral relations, the meeting discussed difficult consular issues related to Afghans living in the UAE. In particular, the issue of a detailed list of Afghans detained in the host country, the creation of special facilities for visiting Afghans detained, and the issue of establishing the identity of a number of Afghans were also discussed. In addition, a joint discussion was held regarding the access of Afghans who have dual citizenship to their legal cases in the host country, and finally, the issue of issuing visas to Afghans was also raised. Mr. Al-Mansouri noted the efforts made in these areas and expressed his assurance of full cooperation.
